An accomplished senior executive and venture capitalist, Glenn Lurie studied business and marketing at Seattle Pacific University before embarking on his career in the technology, media, and telecommunications industry with the cellular telephone pioneer McCaw Cellular Communications. Joining this groundbreaking company in the early days of the wireless industry, he played an integral part in bringing the modern smartphone to a large base of
customers. In the early days of his career, he was a sales representative and marketing product manager. After AT&T purchased McCaw, Lurie became the retail and B2B sales manager for AT&T’s Wireless Service Center and then earned a promotion to the market manager with AT&T’s Wireless operations in the Oregon market, overseeing four sales and operational districts in Greater Oregon.
